Syed Nayyar & Partners LLC — SNP Consulting
If you have questions about anything in this policy, please write to us at info@snp-consulting.com.
When you visit our website or get in touch with us through it, you share information with us. We take that responsibility seriously. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, what we do with it, and what rights you have.
The firm is Syed Nayyar & Partners LLC, based in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman. We are the data controller for any personal information processed through this website. Oman's Personal Data Protection Law, Royal Decree No. 6/2022, governs our obligations, and we also follow GDPR principles as a matter of good practice, particularly for contacts from Europe.
What information we collect and how
If you fill in our contact form, you give us your name, your organisation, your email address, your phone number, and a description of your enquiry. That is all we ask for, and we use it only to respond to you or to follow up on a potential engagement.
Our hosting infrastructure may also collect certain technical data automatically when someone visits the website, such as IP addresses, browser types, pages visited, and session duration. This helps us keep the site running and secure. We do not use it to identify individual visitors unless something has gone wrong with the site's security.
We may also use cookies. Where these are essential to the site functioning, they are set automatically. Where they are used for analytics, we will ask for your consent first. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings at any time.
Why we use it and what authorises us to do so
We process information submitted through the contact form because you have asked us to get in touch. This is either consent or a pre-contractual step depending on the context. We keep correspondence records for the duration of a potential or actual engagement and retain general enquiry data for three years from the date of last contact, after which it is deleted.
We have a legitimate interest in understanding how the website is being used, which covers technical and analytics data. We will never use your information to sell you something, and we will never share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Who else sees your information
Very few people. Our hosting provider and IT support may access server-level data as part of their services and are expected to handle it responsibly. If we engage professional advisers such as lawyers or accountants under confidentiality, they may need to see relevant correspondence. If a court or regulator requires disclosure, we are obliged to comply.
Transfers outside Oman
Some service providers we use may operate servers in other countries. Where your data is transferred internationally, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place as required by law.
Your rights
You have the right to see what data we hold about you, to ask us to correct it if it is wrong, and to ask us to delete it if we no longer have a good reason to keep it. You can also ask us to stop processing your data in certain circumstances, and if processing is based on consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time.
To exercise these rights, email us at info@snp-consulting.com. We will respond within thirty days.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page if our practices change or the law requires it. The date at the top will always reflect the most recent revision.
